tavaly nagyon szkeptikusan mentem a queen koncertre. annak ellenére, hogy paul rodgers fantasztikus énekes, úgy gondoltam, hogy nem lesz mégsem ugyanaz, mint egykor. főleg mivel nagyon kényes vagyok zeneileg az ilyesmire. azt hiszem senki sem panaszkodhatott, hiszen zseniálisak voltak…

és most kezembe került a turné dvd-je… ami fantasztikus… a hammer to fall lassú változatát már volt szerencsém briantől élőben hallgatni, az another world turnén, de most mégis más volt. brian elkezdte a dalt, roger a refrénben már hallatta jellegzetes orgánumát. majd megjelent paul, köszöntek… leült brian mellé és a második versszakot elkezdte énekelni. és akkor volt egy pillanat, amikor paul ránézett brianre, elmosolyodtak egy olyan mosollyal, amiben minden benne volt. minden. majd bólintottak, valahogy így:

és ekkor kirázott a hideg. a dal tökéletessé vált, és valami olyasmit éreztem, amitől helyreáll az univerzum. és most nyugodtan hülyézhet mindenki, de hát így történt, mit tegyek? tessék csak hallgatni:
